Five drivers is enough to run the whole thing end to end: add them, send the D906 invitations, watch the authorisations come back, and see a real check return a real DVLA result. There is no sales call in the way and no card to enter — you open the account at the portal yourself.

1. Create the account
At the portal, in your own time. No call, no proposal, no waiting for someone to enable it.
2. Add your drivers
Up to five on the trial. Pick the ones that will tell you most — the HGV driver, the grey fleet driver, the one you are least sure about.
3. Send the invitation
They get a link, confirm their details and sign the D906 on their phone. That mandate lasts three years.
4. Run the check
Entitlements, endorsements, points and photocard expiry, from the driving record itself. Results come back into the portal, with reporting and expiry reminders from then on.
What you are actually signing up to.
The trial runs thirty days, needs no credit card, and covers up to five drivers. Five is a deliberate number rather than a grudging one: it is enough to put a real driver through every stage — invitation, authorisation, check, result — which is the only way to find out whether this works for you.
Set-up is free and there is no tie-in. Getting the account open and configured costs nothing, and you are not committing to a term.
You pay for checks, not for the platform. There is no platform fee and no administration fee. The price list is the whole price list, and every line on it is charged when something happens rather than monthly.
It is self-managed, and that is the deal. You add your own drivers, set your own check frequencies and send your own invitations. Nobody does that for you — which is exactly why there is no administration fee. If you want somebody else chasing your drivers, this is not the product, and it is better to know that now.
A driver who never authorises never costs anything. Nothing is charged for adding a record. The charge arrives when a check runs.
